FLATTENING THE CUBE

Ages 9-12

Starting from a three-dimensional cube, we will draw the shape of the cube on found images and colored paper. We will then cut up the paper and image into the pieces of the cubes. We then will recompose the image, exploring the different shapes we can make out of the pieces of the cubed paper. Understanding cubes in different dimensions.
